BRAZIL CERRADO MINEIRO – Natural Process, Medium-Dark Roast
Origin:
From the sun-drenched plains of Cerrado Mineiro, Brazil, this coffee is grown between 1,000 and 1,300 meters above sea level. The dry climate during harvest helps ensure a high-quality natural process, where the beans are dried with the cherry still intact. Varieties like Mundo Novo, CatuaÃ, and Bourbon dominate this region.
Tasting Notes:
Rich, sweet, and chocolaty. Notes of hazelnut, cacao, caramel, and raisins, with a full body and low acidity. The medium-dark roast brings out its sweetness without introducing bitterness.
Brewing Recommendation:
Espresso or Moka Pot
-
Espresso: Ratio 1:2 – 18g of coffee for 36g of espresso, 28-30 seconds.
-
Moka: Ideal for emphasizing the natural sweetness and full texture. Use low heat, preheat the water, and avoid boiling.
Extra Tip: Also shines in French press or filter, if you prefer a more balanced cup with expanded sweetness.
