MEXICO DECAF – Medium-Dark Roast
Origin:
This Arabica coffee variety derives from Mexico and then is removed of its caffeine only using water. Mountain Water Process maintains flavor integrity without using harsh chemicals therefore avoiding strong aftertastes. The caffeine is gently removed while the beans reabsorb their original flavor compounds, delivering a clean, flavorful result.
Tasting Notes:
Juicy pineapple and sweet citrus are clearly bursting from this cup, which is even evident in the color of the coffee itself. Smooth but vibrate shades of caramel hold its base. Lightly nutty flavors like hazelnut maintain balance.
Brewing Recommendation:
French Press
Ratio: 1:16.5 – 18g of coffee for 300ml of water.
Coarse grind, water temperature 92°C. Let brew 5-8 minutes, test periodically.
Extra Tip:Â Works well in espresso drinks as well, really nobody will notice it’s decaf.
