This coffee hails from the highlands of Cajamarca, Northern Peru, a region known for its biodiversity, smallholder farms, and volcanic soils. Varieties like Typica, Bourbon, and Caturra are grown under shade, offering a clean and sweet cup.
Tasting Notes:
Smooth sweetness with hints of caramel, red apple, and nuts, a silky body, and balanced acidity. Perfect for those who appreciate a mild yet flavorful coffee.
Brewing Recommendation:
Filter (V60 or Chemex)
Ratio: 1:16 – 20g of coffee for 320ml of water.
Medium grind, water temperature 92-94°C. Pour in three stages to highlight the fruity notes without losing sweetness.
