COLOMBIA HUILA – Medium Roast
Origin:
This coffee is grown in the southern Huila region of Colombia, known for its volcanic soils and ideal altitude of over 1,600 meters. Small farms cultivate varieties like Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia under sustainable practices.
Tasting Notes:
Elegant with notes of red fruit, brown sugar, and cacao flower, balanced acidity similar to mandarin, and a medium body. The medium roast enhances the sweet profile, while preserving its bright, fruity origin.
Brewing Recommendation:
V60 or Kalita Wave
Ratio: 1:15.5 to 1:16 – 20g of coffee for 310-320ml of water.
Medium-fine grind, pour in 3-4 stages to control extraction and bring out the clean, fruity flavors.
